I never meant to overlook your commentary on posts. I only mentioned Rex because a couple of years ago he took scads of serious verbal beatings from anonymous posters. My comment was rooted in that context.
I have always found your comments to be insightful and helpful. In fact, if I ever return to Germany, I hope you'll have some tips and treats. I did not mean to take anything away from your valuable contribution to this forum.
My contribution, on the other hand, is typically similar to adding cayenne or jalapeno to chocolate cake. I like to spice things up with humour, which, on the Fodor's Forum, too often gets interpreted as mean spiritedness. That couldn't be further from the truth . . .

Obviously, I've missed some drama here between the lines. I'm curious what fault anyone could possibly find in RufusTFirefly's posts, which I have always found to be heartfelt, thoughtful, and helpful.
