I thought we started talking about other things to do with the hand held showers! That would be more interesting anyway. Ask Aphrodite on this thread, she knows as do so many other European women.

Pretty much every hotel which I have stayed in (in Europe) has had either a shower or a hand held v______r - um, I mean attachment. Some had both, which made them both fun and efficient! The thing I missed, not being a graceful sort of girl, was a shower curtain.

Audrey, it makes showering more fun, doesn't it? But you do have to watch which way you turn the hand held "attachment". I was told about this when I was on my first trip to France and the maid was showing us the room and how to turn on the tub shower, she handed me the hand held part with a wink and I got the idea. I thought "well, leave it to the French to come up with such a neat idea".

Kim obviously does not know if a bath means simply that A BATH, here in usa it would be just that a bath with no hose, so where do all of you ignorant fools thinking your witty or even slightly funny get of making cheap shots at her question, you are the people that we europeans call stupid americans.

Then it is not a stretch of the imagination to put your head under the sprout is it? I mean really. What do you think Europeans call that?

Oh my god, you have to be American!
Does a Frenchman ask how to use the loo if there is no bidet?
Nothing is insurmountable. There is water, there is a basin and there will probably be a beaker (cup). You'll manage just fine - just don't let it ruin your trip!
since you know now that this is an old boring thread, why are you still reading it? and witty to you may be deadly boring to someone else.so you know the saying," if you don't like it,don't read it".

I was reading it because I remember it when it was initially posted, and I wondered what people were posting to it after such a long time. Understand now? Good.
