Rome Sweet Rome

I'll be going to Italy this Fall and am thinking of booking B&B/apartment rentals through Rome Sweet Rome. Has anyone booked on this site before? I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!

No experience with Rome Sweet Rome, but, in case you're interested, we booked a B&B for seven nights a few months ago through the Bed & Breakfast Association of Rome and were very pleased.

http://www.b-b.rm.it/

My husband and I did use Rome Sweet Home last May and generally worked out well. The apartment we rented in Campo dei Fiori was very nice and it was much better value than staying at hotel.

Once you make a reservation, Rome Sweet Home will advise you of the actual address and how to arrange a key pick up.

It was my mistake, but when they sent us a confirmation, their note sounded like as if they were going to charge additional 20% of booking fee of top of apartment rating fee. But it was not the case (I'm not a native English speaker, so I may misinterpret their comment).

Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy Rome. We actually traveled Italy in April for 2 weeks. We heard so many negative things about Rome that we stayed only last 2 days there.......and regretted and went back to just for Rome in May.

Anyone else have an experience -- good or bad -- with the Rome Sweet Home B&B/apartment agency?

We're considering booking a B&B with them, while also thinking of using the Bed & Breakfast Association of Rome, which we used a year ago and were happy with.

I noticed that Neve said that Rome Sweet Home generally worked out well for her and her husband, but I found another thread where someone said they booked an apartment through Rome Sweet Home and "it was also very scary and very dirty."

Other than those two comments, I couldn't find anything else on this forum about this agency, so I'd appreciate hearing about any other experiences.

Thanks!
