I personally vote for Boscolo Exedra Hotel. It is brand new but build with a stylish and elegant way. Inside it is great, boiseries, golden stuccos and chandeliers and a very accurate service. Its position is great though not really fashionable being near the station, but it is right in the centre of Rome. The other 2 hotels are very good too and the position is in an elegant area of Rome.

Hey everyone, I just signed up for the forums after reading this thread. I'm currently researching which hotel to stay in Rome for my honeymoon. I came across the Exedra hotel. From the website, it looks fantastic. And, everyones comments are pretty much going to sway me to pick this hotel. One additional question, did everyone that visited this hotel stay in the Deluxe room? If you did, how is this room? I'm debating on upgrading to the Junior Suite(?) Any suggestions? The pics on the website show the Deluxe room as very luxurious. What does everyone think? Thanks for your help!

CKP,
I went to the website to see if I could figure out the room we stayed in this past March. From the pictures, I think it was a superior. (I know we would have paid for a standard, but if you saw my post we were the first people to stay in our room and we may have gotten an upgrade as I believe the hotel was newly opened.) At any rate, our room was really, really large. It was on the 4th floor of the wing that is farthest from the main reception area. There were beams across the ceilings - I think this is only a top floor thing. Also, the ceilings were really high and sloped. Our room had a sofa in it and a small dressing area (probably 10ftx10ft) near the bathroom. The bathroom had two sinks, a bathtub, a separate shower and a neat sound system where you could hear the tv in the bathroom even though you couldn't see it. At any rate, we loved the place. I am sure that the deluxe and the junior suite would both be terrific!
Best wishes!
