Rome - Hotel Torino

Hello there,
I'll stay in Rome for 7 nigths, intending to stay in a walking distance from the majority of interest points (but also restos and shops reasonably prized!)
Does any body know if Hotel Torino is a good choice? Belongs to Leonardi Hotels chain, that seems correct.

I think you can do much better.I put in a date and came up with a 230 euro rate for a double room, what were you offered? This is right at the train station, which for some would be convenient(metro, buses,) but for walkers who want to "see the sights" I would recommend choosing a hotel near the Pantheon,Piazza Navona,Campo dei Fiori. Many have been recommended here.

I've seen a "DoubleLastMinute" price of 700 euros, buffet breakfast included for 2 p, from 26-Feb until 5-March. It's true that I would like to stay more close to the center, but places affordable looks very humble B&B, or cheap hotels... didnt find a good spot.

I don't think so. If you want a Leonardi Hotel, then the Genio is a much better location.

You should also look at Residenza Farnese - it has the location, quality, and price you are looking for. Website below:

Thanks, but H. Residenza Farnese ask for 1,190 euros, more 70% than Torino.
I'll look for Genius know.

Thanks for your advice... hope you are not the manager! I've booked directly at Hotel Genio. They accept the reservation even if it is given as "no reservation for those dates" from all the agents I try. That looks a good thing to me...
