Rome first timer
My husband & I have never been to Rome.
We would like recommendations for a hotel
that is reasonably priced, centrally located, in a safe area with an elevator.
Do any hotels include breakfast?
We will be going the end of September someone said it is the busy season and we will have to pay more. Is this correct?
Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks

I'm a little confused by this new thread of yours. Two days ago you stated in a separate thread that you're going to be in Rome for 2 days before going on a cruise. I get the impression from this thread that it's a separate trip to Rome. Are still going on that cruise? If you're going on that cruise, what is the difference if you did have to pay more for a 2 day stay in Rome before your cruise? I'm not an expert on Rome, but I don't think you'll pay more in late September. I'll be there for two weeks during Easter as I'll "ask around". Let us know your actual plans. Mike

The hotel www.venere.it/roma/cesari is available for t very reasonable rate of 200 euro per double per night.
And yes, this rate is considerably more than special weekend rates the hotel offers in August (90) or Nov-Dec-Jan (120).
The location is excellent, central and safe. The breakfast buffet is included.
Best wishes,
Rex

Rex, congratulations on you GTW last weekend. I'm still planning on that dinner with AC and her Mom in Rome. By the way, how many hours per day do you spend on this Website. I see responses from you when I get up at 5:00AM in Calif. and late at night. I guess that's why you're one of the BEST. Mike

I don't know, Mike; it's too many. Write me if you want to know more. I leave it up all the time, and I sit down in front of it between all kinds of things.
But I need to make a correction on what I said about the Cesari's promotions. I was going to close that window, and I noticed that I read it wrong. It was 130 in August and 150 in Nov-Dec (and not Jan).
