Forgot to say that is for Rome
I was willing to know if any of you hired a private driver to go around the city and if so how much it cost? Can you send me some address or e-mails of people that offer guide tours by car.

We have hired Paolo Appolloni as our driving guide for a half day tour of Rome in May

Interesting... I wonder if Paolo and Emilio are related. Their website info and prices are almost identical, and they have the same email!

Mcsampa - The going rate for a private driver is usually about €35 per hour - give or take.

A friend of a friend recommended Paoli and she knew someone who said he was good. Interesting that Emilio and Paolo have the same e-mail. Paolo never mentioned him in our faxes or e-mails.
When we return, I will let you know how we liked him.
