Rome Apartment Choices Help
I’m trying to decide between several apartments in Rome. I checked Slowtrav.com and found comments on the agencies but not these specific apartments.
Just wanted to see if anyone had suggestions
on these choices and their locations for a family of 5. Thanks !

Your third link doesn't work, but when I copied it all on one line on notepad and then stuck it in it worked. (For future reference use tinyurl.com.)
I like the locations of the two sleepinitaly apts personally. Probably the first one might be my first choice. The second one (in Trastevere) I'd like too - but I'm not familiar with that exact street, and the area gets some mixed reviews.
The last apt (near the Vatican) would be my last choice. The one near the Quirinal Palace might (but I'm not sure) be in sort of an austere, government-y feeling neighborhood. We walked up there and that was my recollection.
I also couldn't tell if some of the apts were air conditioned? That could make a huge difference too!
When are you going?

Are you open to other suggestions?
I also think the first one is the best location (though it looks to be located right on the highway - a few blocks or more in from the river would be better). I also agree that the Trastevere one would be my second choice (though even here, I would look for a Trastevere location CLOSER to the river. Ideally, I would suggest an apt. a few blocks from Campo dei Fiori or Piazza Navona - there are many apt's in these locations and are well worth the few extra Euro for the better location.

I think I'd choose Trastevere first with the close second being the one across the river from Castel Sant'Angelo. Just because, as bardo describes it, the Lungotevere is almost a highway. Both are good locations, though, in close proximity to many restuarants and cafes, walking distance (in my opinion) to most/all sights.
Vatican area would be my last choice.

Thanks for the info. I've emailed a number of agencies - these are the best I've received so far...given that we're going in less than 2 months, and only staying 4 days, there don't seem to be that many available apartments...

Have you checked out these apartments? www.residenzagiubbonari.com
The lady who answers the requests, Cristina, is very nice and helpful.
I have not stayed in the apartments but there are several good reviews of them on the internet.

Hi,
I'm looking for the same thing - an apt near the campo, but in July. I found a couple but I'd like to find reviews of them. My search hasn't comeup with anything. Where did you find reviews? Here are some more sites for you to search:

Slowtrav.com is a good source for reviews. I've contacted several of the agencies you mention.
Incidentally, I had picked an apartment from Comfortitalia earlier (they had several positive reviews) and then never heard back from them despite numerous emails. Not sure what happened there.....
