Rome- Leaving in 3 weeks, what have I not done?

Hi, we leave in 3 weeks for Italy/ Med. Cruise. Tickets and passports in order. Hvae already got some Euros. Hotels booked and confirmed and re-confirmations sent out. Booked by phone for Uffizi, Doges Place Secret Tour(did this weeks ago, hope they did not lose them)Booked climb up Leaning Tower in Pisa on-line. Car hire booked through Auto-europe. I have an idea of restaurants we would like to try ,but did not make reservations, is it necessary for July? Rome- Da Bafetto, Al Bric, Cantina del vecchio. Florence- La Giostra/ Ritrovo. CT-will decide when there. Orvieto- any ideas? I have booked Colosseum tour with Roman Promenades. Transport to hotel from FCO and vice -versa, confirmed with Airport shuttle limo and from port with Rome cabs. I think I have covered all bases, but still feel like I have omitted something. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks.

Have you notified your bank and credit card companies of the dates of your travel and where? You can also check and see how much you are allowed each day from your ATM and probably increse it if you think it's needed. My bank asked me how much I would want each day and I made it quite a bit higher than I ever thought I'd need, just to be safe. Never went to the max but ya just never know. Have a wonderful trip, it sounds fabulous.

Great advice from crefloors.

Also, be aware that many overseas ATM machines are not set up to allow you to pull cash from your savings account (only from your checking). So move enough money into your checking to keep you ok on cash for the duration of your trip.

Hi DOCKS, you no doubt have put have you made arrangements for someone to pick up your mail and possibly pay any bills etc. Stop any newspapers subscriptions. Asked a neighbor or friend to keep an eye on your house?
Given copies of your itinerary, passport etc. to a trusted family member or friend. If you have a garden have you made arrangements for plant watering, lawn mowing etc?

Imagine you have done all of that. And going along with Crefloors post do make sure your ATM has 4 digets and if you use letters know the numbers as you will need the pin numbers for the ATM's.

And have a beautiful trip. It sounds wonderful.

Thanks for the info. I have been so focused on making sure the trip details were in order that I forgot about the more mundane, albeit very necessary details of regular life that needed to be taken care of. So I have started a new list and tomorrow will start tackling these chores. Thanks a alot.
