Rome - Albergo del Senato

Hello

We chose the Albergo del Senato for our 3 days in Rome based on all of the great reviews. I was offered either just a "double" or a "superior double room with a nice view and a balcony" for 20 Euro more, so I chose the superior.
My question is, do you know if all of the rooms with balconies overlook the Pantheon, or is it just the suites?
Thanks!

Write the hotel and ask. The only time I was lucky enough to stay there we didn't have a balcony but we had a view of the Pantheon. Friends also had a view, no balcony.

It's a nice hotel, perfectly located. Have a wonderful time in Rome.

I know that there is at least one double on the sixth floor that does have a balcony so maybe that is the room you have reserved.

email is the best option. If you get good information, please post/share, as many are interested. While you are waiting, you can search this forum. entering "albergo del senato suite" will provide some specific info on room options.

There are a couple of Jr Suites, a couple more Sr. Suites (6th floor), and even more double superior with full Pantheon view.

I stayed in the Jr. Suite on the first floor. No balcony, but 2 large windows, one in bedroom, the other in the sitting room, that opened to a Pantheon View. I'm not sure that the Jr. Suite was worth the extra denaro (approx extra 60 euro), but it was a great room/fantastic view.

The superior double sounds great. The view/balcony sounds like a good deal for only 20 euro more.

Hi Jessica,
We will be staying at the Senato next week, 03/28. If you have additional questions regarding the Hotel, I will be glad to help, and see what I can find out while I am there.

Hi
The hotel sent me back the following message:

"you have a room with a view over the Pantheon Square. All our Superior Rooms have view over the Square." Yeah!

Hope you have a great time there next week.

Any advice you can pass along when you return would be great.

Yes, all of the superior double rooms with a balcony are in the front of the hotel overlooking the Pantheon. I believe there are only five of these rooms and they are all on the top floor. We stayed in one of these rooms last September and loved it. The views are incredible and you are only a few steps away from the rooftop bar. We were concerned with noise from Piazza della Rotonda but it was very quiet at night except for occasionally hearing the faint sound of musician playing. We actually found the music to be very relaxing and conducive to sleeping. Say hi to Michael in the rooftop bar.

My daughter and I stayed there a year ago. Nice room - we felt we could reach out and touch the Pantheon. It was great! Enjoy!
