Romantic dinners in Paris

First timers looking for a restaurant to spend a very special occassion. One that is romantic or offers a view. In Paris on Sept 16 for 1 week.Money no object. <BR>Thank you in advance. <BR>PS-if this is a repeat,I appologize. <BR>

Hi <BR>The money is no object idea is great, but unfortunately some of the top places in town book months in advance. <BR>You can try <BR>Jules Verne, in the Eiffel Tower, <BR>likelihood of an a available table is close to zero unfortunately, phone 1 45 55 61 44, fax 1 47 05 29 41; <BR>l'Ambrosie, ditto, phone 1 42 78 51 45; <BR>Taillevent, phone 1 44 95 15 01, fax 1 42 25 95 18; <BR>Le Grand Vefour, phone 1 42 96 56 27, fax 1 42 86 80 71; <BR>Laurent--I've been there, it is surrounded by a garden in the middle of the Champs Elysees, phone 1 42 25 00 39, fax 1 45 62 45 21; <BR>Ledoyen, a Gorgeous! restaurant, again in the Champs Elysees, phone 1 53 05 10 01, <BR>fax 47 42 55 01; <BR>Very pretty formal restaurant in the Hotel de Crillon is les Ambassadeurs, phone 1 44 71 16 16, fax 1 44 71 15 02; <BR>There are so many. YOu might want to consult a guidebook, especially <BR>the Zagat survey of Paris restaurants. <BR>You can buy a copy on-line on their website.

I hear the renovated Hotel "Meurice" has an outstanding restaurant. <BR>228, Rue de Rivoli, 1st arr. <BR>Tel. 1 44 58 10 10 <BR>Fax 1 44 58 10 15 <BR> <BR>PS: A lot of outstanding places need to be booked months in advance, esp. for dinner. Good luck and enjoy!

My husband & I had a lovely meal at Tour D'Argent. Our view overlooked Notre Dame. It's somewhat pricey but the food was wonderful.
