Riding the Bus in Florence
I know most folks walk from place to place here, but I'm thinking of taking a city overview ride, perhaps on Route Number 13, (clockwise circle from and to the Santa Maria Novella train station).
Does anyone know how long this route takes from beginning to end? Or how often a bus runs by each stop if you were to hop on and off along the route?
Other suggested routes and bus tips are welcome. Doesn't number seven go up to Fiesole?

Hi degas,
Bus routes, maps and schedules are at http://www.ataf.net/Default_EN.asp.
Buy your tickets at a tabac shop before boarding.
Make sure that you insert your ticket into the stamp box with the arrow pointing forward.
The no. 7 is the bus to Fiesole.

Hi d,

I sympathize.
Check the bus link I gave you. There are little shuttle buses that tour the central district. I think that they are the A - D lines.
