Rialto Bridge to S Lucia Railway station

I have a 620am train on a saturday morning from Venice to Milan, and my hotel is next to Rialto bridge. I have luggage. What is the best way to catch the train? How long does it take?

Thanks
Sam

The Vaporetto ( lines 1 and 2, I believe) will run from one of the Rialto boarding platforms to the train station. Begins running around 5 AM and should take about 15 min. to reach the train station. Shouldn't be crowded early AM so it will be very easy to bring luggage aboard. My husband and I with our luggage took vaporetto to and from station with no problem.

Hi

How much luggage have you? If you each have more than one case and one carry on they may not let you on. If that's the case it will be a very expensive water taxi.
