Rex where are you?

The "analysis paralysis is over. " Too much good information can be a problem. I just discovered this web sight and I guess I over did it with wanting to find the perfect place in Rome. We've decided on the dui Torre, one that you do not know personally but there is a lot of good stuff about.

This will not be our last trip to Italy, so I will learn what to correct for future trips. Thanks for the heads up about my problem. I love what this site allows people to do.

Too bad we were not able to find a place to stay in Varenna. Both the Milan and the Olvieto were full. We've decided to stay in Como as planned, and that way I won't drive myself crazy looking for the perfect palce.. We'll travel to Varenna, Bellagio, etc. We can't do all of Italy! Too Bad!

Debby

Why not stay in Bellagio? It's just a short boat ride away from Varenna and in my opinion, much more charming than Como. Como is more like a big city and Bellagio is a quaint village.

Debby: Not trying to compound your dilemma, but I would certainly stay in Bellagio or Menaggio before Como. Como has little charm. As I recall, this will be your first night in Italy. Hate to see your introduction to Italy occur at Como.

Debby, another vote for Bellagio. It'll be much more convenient for seeing the sights/sites in Varenna, Tremezzo, Bellagio and elsewhere. The ferry rides take minutes from Bellagio.
