dcd: The joke was about take the Funicular that is only 220 feet long and it takes " one minute" to ride...... but you can take nice pictures as you go up. !!

Hi everyone!!!!

So far, 3 weeks in, no one on either tour has been sick, knock on wood. So strange to not wear a mask for 3 straight weeks outside of our flight from Dubrovnik to Zagreb and on an underground cave tour. The locals aren’t masked and no one on our tours has been either. Fingers and toes crossed.

We are no longer in Croatia but want to share some photos.

We miss Croatia! But many other countries to explore!

Point of clarification. The last batch of photos were moved from the lounge and do not depict Croatia. They were taken in Slovenia.

I had never really considered Slovenia as a destination but your photos are really lovely. I'll have to do some research.

Such beautiful pictures. Always love the ones with flowers. Croatia is on my list. This year is Greece for wedding and then Austria and Slovenia.

Hi dcd! Loved all our photos and they brought back wonderful memories of our trip to Croatia and Slovenia in 2019. You went to a couple interesting places in Croatia that we did not. Sorry to hear that Zagreb is still suffering so. I loved Zagreb and all of the inland portions of the country we visited. It was a fascinating part of Croatia very different from the coast which is as you show, beautiful.

@janisj - definitely consider visiting Slovenia! Ljubljana is on my favorite cities list. In fact, the Balkans in general are worth visiting. Sarajevo is on my list, too, and there is plenty of excellent scenery.
