Well my air is booked and now I am working on a car. Has anyone ever rented a car with GPS? I have a hand held but company doesn't have soft ware for Ireland!!

If you have a good map, I don't think you'll need one. I've never gotten lost in Ireland unless I've wanted to.

The best part of our trip was "wrong turns" ...I vote skip it unless you need it for walking back to your B&B from the pub!

Ireland's easy to navigate once you realise that the key is knowing the towns between where you and your destination. That's how the road signs direct you.

If there is such a thing, it's probably in the more high end rentals there. If you have a GPS system already, you can probably by the software for Ireland. But I'm like the others. Getting lost and asking for directions is part of the fun. It's also getting increasingly easy to get around the country. It's sometimes a bit confusing in the Gaeltacht areas.
