Reading this over, just gathering tips for September visit also - I cannot provide any info but have a question related to this itinerary.

dweislaw, you said many places in Strasbourg closed on Sunday - what types of places are closed?

All the apartments look lovely. So worth it for the quiet at night and in the morning. And we thought very convenient as a base.

We stayed in Alsatian Hart, there were 3 of us. It was so well thought out and equipped, wouldn't hesitate a moment to stay there again.
