Red Highlight
How come Uncle_Sam is always highlighted in red whereas everyone else's name appears in blue? This is a serious question, I am not trying to start an argument. One obvious answer: he makes me see red, but that does not provide the technical answer.

It's not permanent.

You should do some housekeeping periodically.

Inside your browser, go to Tools, Internet Options.

Select 'Delete Cookies' and press OK.
Select 'Delete Temprary Internet Files' and press ok.
Select 'Clear History'.

You will clean up a lot of disc space. Also, a few web sites will take a bit longer to load now that you've removed a copy of them from your local computer.

All the highlighted links will be reset.

Myer, I am using a Mac, not a PC, and I have all cookies automatically deleted as I close the browser.. I was wrong when I claimed that my name was always highlighted. It appears in blue. I highlighted another name, and when I close the browser and re-open it, that name is back in blue. Only Uncle_Sam stays red, and it is still true this morning (I'm on the West Coast). But I am open to any other suggestions.

Do NOT mention this any further unless you want to be killed by 007.

Don't you know that every computer in the entire world is being monitored by Bill Gates. The program has a bug so that's why your computer shows red. Oh, also the Klingons are watching you as well as Captain Picard. ...and Planet Vulcan is a real planet. ...and space aliens abducted aviator Amelia Earhart.
