Recommendations for 1 day Malta Cruise excursion?
Hi,
We are staying in St Julians, and due to our limited time in Malta (only there for an extended weekend) plan to take a day cruise to see the Blue Lagoon and Comino, and also possibly Gozo (if we can fit it in). We are looking for a tour company that preferably leaves from St Julians, offers the above for a reasonable price, has a boat/fleet with good facilities and allows us to stop and swim at lots of different locations along the way.
Can anyone please recommend a good company to go with based on experience? Would you recommend doing Gozo/Lagoon/Comino all in 1 day (or some other cruise excursion)? Also - some of the companies offer a 3 island cruise (1-day)- what is this, and would it be better than going on a Gozo/Lagoon/Comino cruise?
Also the official Malta tourism site recommends the below companies for cruise excursions - has anyone had any experience with any of them?
-BARBAROSSA EXCURSIONS
-EBSONS COMINO FERRIES MGARR HARBOUR, GOZO
-MARIBLU GOZO CO LTD
Thanks!

I would do Comino and Gozo separately, if you can make the time for it.
I have never used them, but I heard that Sunscope Travel Ltd tours are good, particularly since most of their tours use mini buses so you would not be in a large group. They do day tours to Gozo, and the price for the tour is only 10 Euros, as I have just seen on their website. They do it every day excluding Sundays. Price excludes ferry fare and lunch. Their offices are in Sliema, so probably they would also pick you up from your St Julians hotel, which is very near. Should be really convenient, and gives you the opportunity to see the best sites in Gozo in one day without the hassle of using public transport.
You might be interested in doing the Blue Lagoon trip in Comino without joining a tour. There is a very regular ferry service from Cirkewwa (close to the ferries that leave for Gozo) to the Blue Lagoon. There are direct buses from St. Julians to Cirkewwa and back.
Alternatively, you might email and make some enquiries to Sunscope Travel, as they are agents for various cruise tours in Malta. I am sure they would be willing to find something for you, and maybe book for you themselves the cruise tour to Comino.

I'm not sure if I'm still on time, maybe you've already come to Malta! Anyway, most of the cruises leave from Sliema, and the most famous company is captain Morgan https://shop.malta.com/29-cruises. If you don't have enough time, a 3 island cruise would be perfect to see the seascape and the landscape from the sea, and then you'll have a few days to see the land, Valletta, Mdina & so on!
