recommend destination for solo female

I am currently in Europe, where is of no matter. At the end of November for 2-4 days I'm considering Frankfurt, Budapest, and Bucharest. Which would you recommend and why? Or is another destination ideal?

I haven't been to Frankfurt, Budapest, or Bucharest but I always feel comfortable in England and most of Holland not so in Italy and Paris.

Hi, Just got back from a solo trip to Rome and Florence. I as felt safe travelling alone there as I would in any large city. In Rome the area southwest of termini is supposed to be sketchy, but otherwise I felt totally safe walking around anywhere during the day. At night, I walked along busy streets. I would recommend taking a cab at night if you think you will be going to a secluded area. In general, I think its always wise to be this cautious if you're travelling to a large city.

I don't think there's much to do in Frankfurt. Budapest is gorgeous. I would recomend it. Never been to Bucharest, but heard good things about it.

Traveled to Munich, Vienna and Budapest solo and felt safe during the day, not so safe at night. I started my days very early and pretty much packed it in by nightfall.

Budapest is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with a lot to see. I spent 7 days there 2 years ago. The only problem that I might have had is with the rogue taxi drivers. They want to rip you off. Use the phone numbers in Fodors or Frommers guide books for a releible one.
I was in Bucharest this year in sept and did not care for it.
Frankfurt does not have a lot, but there are some very nice areas around it. You could take a day trip up the Rhein, visit Mainz or Weisbaden.
