I would highly recommend the Villa Rosa. Ask for room 18. You can check out some pictures at http://photos.youwer.com/photo.php?id=687714

There's a lot of good suggestions already posted. I've personally used venere.com as ira suggests and have been completely satisfied. One additional site you might want to check out is positanoonline.com.
It's not as easy to navigate as others, but it can provide you with a fairly good list of hotels in Positano with direct links to most. Hope this helps!

Can anyone give me more information on Posa Posa in Positano? I need to book my hotel for September fast and all the hotels I wanted are booked. Has anyone stayed in a Royal Suite therE? Also, what about the wuites at the Don Alfonso 1890-since it's a famous restaurant there isn't much info on the hotel part of it.
Thank you!

Charmingitaly.com is now Italyby.com I found place for my daughter on that site for abou $150. If you can't find anything you like on that site, try Best Western. i think La Pupetto which is on its own beach just around the corner (on a walking path) from Positano may have rooms available at about 150. I've eaten there a couple of times but haven't stayed there. It looks ok though.
