I have accumalated free nights with Radisson. We will be renting a car and they have numerous locations in Germany. We prefer small villages and countryside. Which locations would you choose up t0 4
a)karlsruhe b) wiesbaden c)cologne d)dusseldorf e) erfurt f) dresden g)merseberg
h)cottbus i)hannover lubeck
We dont want to see all. also dont mind if their are nice villages near by. I am very confused. I need help with an itenrary. WE will also have a two year with us. Please Help

Dresden! The Radisson SAS Gewandhaus is a five star - and excellent hotel. It's a quick train/tram ride to the outskirts - vineyards, rolling hills, or even to the National Park "Saxon Switzerland" (bizarre sandstone patches).

Although the hotel is centrally located it is relatively quiet. And it is only a few minutes walk down to the river with large meadows at both banks. Paddle steamers run up or down the river (up recommended) to castles and gardens.

Beautiful villages are to find even in the outskirts of Dresden by the river: Loschwitz, Altwachwitz, Pillnitz.

We stayed the Radison SAS Gewandhaus last fall.A very nice hotel. At the time we stayed we were told that the hotel was going to be renovated shortly. The hotel also offers parking for a fee. Ingo is correct great location. Very nice hotel. We had a small room because of the dates we were there, but it's location and breakfast buffet made up for the room size. It is centrally located and quiet.

I was also going to suggest Dresden. My son did a "Praktikum" in the area after spending a semester in Berlin, and was awed by the beauty of Dresden and the surrounding area.

If you need a second place as well, perhaps Wiesbaden?
