Rachael Ray in Florence

I know there was a recent Rachael Ray post re Rome, but I recall seeing too the Florence episode. And since I'll be in both places in May I'm wondering if anybody specifically remembers the name or other identifying info about that restaurant she went to very near the Ponte Vecchio. I recalled she had to stand outside in line, and the proprietor(s) came out with wine for the crowd... The food looked very interesting. Soup or stew-like?

If you go to the Food Network's website, you can get the rundown of the restaurants with the addresses.

Thanks all (and esp. Tiggy):

BTW, what does "topping" mean?

We went to Il Latini a year ago October and loved it! The ribollita was the best I've ever had. It was a very fun experience-be prepared to wait though. We stopped by early in the afternoon and put our name on the list and didn't wait long but they never asked our name which makes me believe that the list didn't mean much. From the best of my recollection they have a 7:00 or 7:30 seating and a 9:00ish seating.

I have been to Il Latini and think it is huge tourist trap. The food was mediocre, the service abrasive. I go to Florence several times a year and this is one of the worst experiences ever.

That being said, it seems to be tremendously popular with tourists. There are so many terrific places in Florence to dine and IMHO this is not one of them.
