Quiet Reykjavik Hotel Suggestion?

We are visiting Iceland in June and staying in Reykjavik for two nights. I've read that there is much partying in the city. Does anybody have a quiet hotel to recommend that avoids the party-goers? We'd like to stay in the city center. Thanks.

How close to the city centre and are you prepared to catch buses or are we talking walking distance?

Given the size of Reykjavik the centre is very small and given the double and treble glazing there is very little interior street noise, I'd just step one small block back from the main drag.
