Quickest RER transfer: Gare du Nord or Chatelet?
Hello, due to my oversight I have myself a tight connection b/w arrival in CDG and departure from Gare de Lyon. My plan is to take RER B from CDG to either Gare du Nord or Chatelet, and transfer there to RER A or D to Gare de Lyon.
Which station is quicker to transfer at (i.e. less walking), Gare du Nord or Chatelet?
Thanks!

Take RER B from CDG to Châtelet-les-Halles. When you arrive step off the train and walk 10 steps to the adjacent platform and get on RER A. The first stop is Gare de Lyon. No stairs and no long correspondence. Just 10 quick steps from one train to the next.

So the correct answer is either one. I guess it depends on which train runs more frequently, RER A or RER D, and which one just happens to be there first when you get off the RER B. Either way, it's a matter of saving only a few minutes.
