Questions on La Tour D'Argent - Paris Restaurant

Hi,

I'm planning my first trip to Paris and want to taste that famous pressed-duck in La Tour D'Agent.
Any one know if they require Tie + Jacket for guy at Lunch? What's the dress code for lady then?
How much it cost for lunch menu per person (with wine/without wine)?
Thanks

Prices for a meal for ONE person at La Tour d'Argent at dinner can run up to 200 Euros, not including wine. Lunch should be a bit cheaper, but possibly not much for such a famous restaurant.

Try a Google search for the restaurant's name to find the home page, which I believe has sample menus.

I had lunch at tour in April. The dress code is relaxed for lunch. Khakis and collared shirt for men. We had the prix fixed lunch menu and it was about E70 per person without drinks. This was 3 or 4 courses and included the duck entree. They also included the numbered post card with the number of the duck you ate.

Very historic place. We had dinner here in 2000 and dress was tie for men. Have not done lunch there. We had the table upstairs that overlooked Notre Dame. Not a bad spot! We were with a group so had the private room.

I think La Tour D'Argent is overrated. We celebrated our 20th anniversary with dinner there last year, and came away unimpressed. I'd be interested to hear what other posters here thought of the food and outrageous prices!
