Questions about day use hotels at LHR

jpie: Didn't see your last post (my laptop froze up mid post) - I agree it is too early to be booking a day room especially with all the changes happening daily. Heck - your flight times may change 3 times between now and September and you could have a whole different dilemna

Yeah-that's that the problem with all us obsessive planners-even pre-Covid I was always too early in my planning, and now as things change around much more, I just need to remember to "cool my jets" a bit 
The last time we have been to Europe we arrived March 11th 2020. And we were flying Norwegian SEA to LGW-and of course, now that option is kaput! Now that they are trying to "reincarnate" as Norse airlines, maybe by the end of this year or next they might have some routes that originate in other European cities than Oslo. I really hope they can rebuild that SEA to LGW route-that was great for us!
And when we returned to the US in June 2020, Norwegian indeed canceled our flight so we had to scramble to re-book on Air France, so I am definitely aware of just how easily things can shift around. Maybe one day I will cure my "early planner" syndrome.
