question re: flight from Barcelona to CDG

We (family of 2 adults and 2 kids)have reservations to fly from BOS to BCN. Have decided that we want to add Paris to our itinerary. Thinking about using Vueling to fly roundtrip from BCN to CDG. Need to stay close to the BCN airport to make an early morning flight.

Any suggestions for hotel near BCN airport and comments about Vueling flights would be greatly appreciated!

We're flying Paris-Barcelona in April and it seems that Easyjet.com has better rates than Vueling. Also, we're staying near the BCN airport before flying back to the US at Tryp Barcelona Aeropuerto. They have a shuttle and are near the airport. Don't know much more than that. Got a rate of 90 EU through solemelia.com. Hope this helps.

No need to stay near the airport. From the center of Barcelona (example: near Paseo de Gracia / Diagonal) in early morning, a taxi will get you to the airport in 15 - 20 minutes max.

Vueling is a very good low cost airline. The planes are new .my daughter and brother have already flown with them and like it very much. Much better than Iberia!

I used Vueling a few times last summer and was very pleased. New planes, seat assignments on line, nothing to indicate it was a budget airline other than price.

I agree that it is a short taxi ride from Barcelona to the airport.

Thanks so much for the help! We ended up with best connections using Vueling to Paris and Easyjet for the return flight to Barcelona so we will try both! Also, thanks for the hotel help! wjh
