Question re: ferry from Positano to Capri???
Is it possible to book a round trip reservation ahead of time on the ferry? We'll be traveling in the summer and I wasn't sure how busy the ferries are between Positano & Capri? Can you even book a reservation or are they all first come first serve?
Thank you!

All the boats between Positano and Capri will be jam packed and really must be booked in advance. My last trip was mid-Sept and I had my hotel book my one-way from Positano a day ahead. Other people who just walked up thinking they were going to get a "day trip" to Capri, couldn't get a boat until nearly noon! (Mine was the earliest at 9am).
Are you going for the day? Better book all as far in advance as allowed. And don't stand in the very, very long line to take the funiculare up to town. Take a private taxi. It will be worth it.

As a start...

But do check again nearer the time, as services often reduce after the schools reopen - around 14th/15th September!
