In what country do men treat women the best: looking them in the eye when conversing, listening to what they say rather than lecturing, enjoying their company whether or not sex is in the offing, making them feel attractive whether or not they fit current standards for sex-pot, and in general treating them as members of the human race rather than specimens to be matched against a checklist of desirable inventory items?

In the USA, silly. I have traveled the world, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and etc., and KNOW that our fine men are the best in the world. Women are treated like pack mules in Africa, like property in Asia (if it's going to be a girl, get rid of it!), like hidden under heavy wraps, married, traded and discarded in the middle east( just say "I divorce thee three times" does it in most Muslim countries. Girls, enjoy what you have in the way of independence and freedom of so many choices.

If you remove one thing..."making them feel attractive..." I say, without a doubt, US. <BR>I too have been all over the world, and as much as I adore traveling, I am glad I live here. <BR>I do think, however, that in some other countries, France, Spain, Italy, men bend over backwards to make all women feel attractive. I just get a different "look," in Europe than the US&gt;

all I know is, I get hit on a LOT in Europe (not in a creepy way either - a very nice flattering way) but it seems like it takes forever to be noticed in the US...

Definitely Italy. Even my friends in their 50's/60's get notice from Italian men, which makes them feel just fantastic. A friend of mine who lived there says every time she returns, she notices how she feels more attractive than she does elsewhere because of the attention. Another thing about Italian men - they don't give up!
