Put Your May 2004 Travel Plans Here!
Ok, this was fun last month so, lets see what we are up to this month!
If you are packing a suitcase for even one night tell us all or some about it.
This month...I am up for one Wine Country weekend in Sonoma.
Our son's Senior year activities cover most of this month so I am HOME...
Your turn...
My Best,
Oaktown Traveler

Well, let's see...I leave tomorrow for a two-day business trip to Cleveland. Am trying to contain my excitement about that (no offense intended to any Ohioans)...but then...
We (2 couples) leave on May 27 for Germany, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic. Will return home (Philadelphia) on June 13.

Off in less than 2 weeks to Paris for 8 nights, Loire Valley (Amboise) for 4 nights, then fly over to England. A few days with friends in Surrey, a family wedding in Essex, and a few nights in London. All this just days after moving to a new house!

We leave for Spain and France on May 18th. We will be in Barcelona for 5 nites (with a day trip to Figueras) then we will go to Arles for 3 nites (too short, I know - next time longer!)then we will finish with 3 nites in Paris (day trip to Giverney). Sometimes I think we should have just spent all the time in Barcelona as there seems to be so much to do but we've been wanting to visit Giverney in the spring so up thru France we go.

Graduation trip for daughter who just completed her masters in art education ... she might rather travel with a friend but I (her mom) will go wherever she wants to go and see whatever she wants to see and my credit card limit is higher than that of most of her cash challenged friends ... we leave on the 12th and fly to London, hop the Eurostar to Paris (3 days), Eurail to Amsterdam (2 days), Zurich (2 days), Venice (3 days), Florence (3 days), Rome (3 days), Overnight train to Paris, Eurostar back to London (3 days there) and home. We're excited!

I know what you mean about being worthless at work!! I leave for San Diego on May 27th for four days, then leave for Australia on June 26 for two weeks and then leave for London/Paris on July 29th. I am going to traverse three continents in one month! I Love it!! This is what I live and unfortunately work for.

I was planning to go to Milan and Bellagio via Basel and Lugano, which I've done before. But inspired by another Fodorite's question, I've changed my itinerary and am going via Nice (where I've never been), spending one night there on the way to Milan and two nights on the way back after Bellagio (there is a direct train to Nice from Como). Three weeks after that trip, we're all (me, DH, and cocker spaniel) piling into the Laguna and heading off for two weeks in the Loire Valley.
