Good morning - In my attempt to take care of as many details as possible prior to my arrival in Italy, I've been attempting to purchase a 2-day adult trail/train card for my stay in Liguria next month. For some reason, I can't enter the dates in the website

to accomplish this. Each time I try to enter my start date (July 23rd), I get an error message saying "NaN undefined NaN."

2 questions - Is it necessary or advantageous to purchase the card in advance? Can anyone offer an assist in my attempt to purchase the card in advance?

A few years ago, we bought the CT card at the Monterosso station itself (other resellers too incl tourist offices I recall). So you dont have to buy it in advance at all. The only advantage in having them in hand before arrival, is beating any possible queues.

might it be a battle between European dates and US date formats. I might clear cookies and try again

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. This morning, after 2 days of making attempts on my laptop, work desktop and iphone, I used my desktop Mac at home and was successful with the website populating the date box. Finally! I'm sure I could have purchased the ticket in person after arrival, but am really happy to have it in my virtual possession prior to my visit to Liguria.
