just wondering if pumas are still big in italy...was thinking of bringing a pair over to a friends son as a gift.

That’s a great idea – especially since they are so much cheaper in the US than Europe.

Yes, Pumas continue to be very popular.
Make sure the style is correct: suede/nubuck with the cat prominent on the toe.

Popular colors: royal blue (not navy), red, dark brown & black.
