I'll be staying in Paris 4 days in September,should I get a Carte Orange?Is it good for buses and the subway?Thank you so much for your replies..

Only if the 4 days start on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday -and- you will ride a bus or metro 4x a day or more. The ticket is good for both the metro, the RER within Paris and the bus. Don't 'cancel' the ticket on the bus - just show the pass to the driver as you board. Bring a small (1x1 inch) photo.

I would just buy a carnet of 10 tickets - about 11E.

I agree with Ira. You'll probably find that you do more walking then expected so the carnet may be more reasonable for a short stay.

Just got back and our trip included 4 days in Paris. We bought the carnet - for about 11 euro, it will be one of the smaller expenses you will have to make.
