I also recommend visiting Ansouis, if you have the time, which is near Lourmarin. It's a lovely village perched on a hill, and it is not touristy or overrun with crowds. We were just there 2 weeks ago, and I think we were the only tourists. Most other people were locals. I didn't see one single tourist gift shop. There are about 4 or 5 restaurants, a ceramics store, small food market, 2 art galleries, the Chateau d'Ansouis, and a very old church. I posted more information on xyz99's thread if you want more detailed information.

So happy to have had 3 days in Cassis
We were so glad to have 3 nights in lovely Cassis. We arrived around dinner the first night and enjoyed eating alongside the port. The next day we took a boat ride to the Calanques. Our next day we hiked to the Calanques and then did the beautiful drive from Cassis to La Ciotat. It was such a nice town to relax in.

I am glad it all worked out for you. It just goes to show that we are all different in what we like to do. What suits one person may not suit the next . If we took note of every ' not worth visiting' I have read over the years, we would have missed places we have really enjoyed. That is what is so good about independent travel. We all see things slightly differently.
