Private Tour Guides

Can anyone recommend a private tour guide who deals with planning and touring a small family to Northern Italy (Florence, Tuscany). Someone who would give the tours and provide the transportation as well. An email and/or web site would be appreciated. Thanks!

We just had experience with 2 wonderful people who should be able to help you. We used a woman named Paola as a guide for a day trip to Montelcino and Pienza and she was great. She has an art background and also does walking tours of Florence. Her email is [email protected]
Another is Majla with The Accidental Tourist. She arranged a wonderful birthday party at a private villa for us. Her email is [email protected]
Both will set everything up including transportion.
I made all the arrangements with them via the web and everything was perfectly coordinated.

Please visit my website www.italyarttrips.com, you will see that taking very small groups (4) on private tours is my speciality. I grew up in Rome and now return about 6 to 8 times a year for several weeks. I can arrange anything you can come up with, it my business and my passion!!

Hello Mike, First, Tuscany is not northern Italy--it is central Italy.
I would check with Christina who is a frequent contributor on this forum. She has a tour service that is well priced and very personal--4 people max. Go to
www.christinastour.com for the details.
