Do you want a guide for each day you are in each city, or just a guide for 1 day in each city?

I would recommend Sabina Stredova in Prague -- [email protected] -- she charges approximately $9 per hour (for 1 or 2 people). I've recommended her to many here that have used her services. She is delightful and speaks fluent English. However, she has gotten very busy because of all of the referrals here at Fodors, so, if she is not available, Sabina will recommend another talented guide for approximately the same price.

In Budapest, I recommend Eva Tokody - [email protected] -- she charges approximately $10 per hour per person, and also speaks fluent English and Japanese. If Eva is not available, she will also recommend a talented guide for approximately the same price.

Both Sabina and Eva are licensed guides, and can customize a tour based on your needs. You will also need to pay their entrance fees into the venues that you are interested in seeing. Also, both Sabina and Eva will meet you at your hotel, and you will need to negotiate hourly or daily rates as there are 6 of you.

I have had the pleasure of having both women as guides, and can only praise each of them.
