Private Guided tours of Rome

Hello again. Now I'm trying to remember the trip reports that included raving recommendations of private guides. I know that my friend would love to visit as many churches as possible, and I'm certain that one of those private agencies mentioned at this forum could provide the perfect person to escort her and her husband. My friend knows church history, so someone with that expertise as well as art and architecture would be just the ticket. (The 'again' refers to my earlier request for directions to the favorite restaurant threads.)
With continued appreciation, J.

I second the recommendation for Francesca. She was our guide for ancient Rome and the Borghese Museum and she was excellent.

Thank you! I'm topping to see if there might be any additional recommendations in the event that she is not available. I think they are traveling next week, which might mean that it's too late to arrange such assistance. The special interest will be the churches, their architecture and art, as well as their history. J.

Search this forum for the many recommendations for Context Rome(used to be called Scala Reale,so you might see that, too.) I have taken MANY of their small group and private tours and they are beyond excellent.
