Private Car for 6 from CDG -- Need help

My husband and I are coming into Paris on the Eurostar from London, and we're meeting our parents at CDG Airport -- partly because they're a bit older and we want to help them get to the hotel, and partly because I want to see my Mom's face when she sees the Eiffel Tower and the rest of Paris for the first time (this is her first trip to Europe).

My Mom and Aunt, and my In-Laws are coming in on two different flights within an hour of each other. What we'd like to do is have a private car or shuttle meet us, and drive us to our hotel together.

I'm finding when I go to reserve a car, it asks what flight -- and my understanding is the American Airlines and Continental flights don't arrive at the same terminal.

I can't be the first person to want to do this...do you know of a meeting place in CDG where we can meet together and connect with our car?

Thanks for any help!

Jules

Can you contact the car agencies directly for their advice? They probably run into this situation frequently. Try e-mailing them.

I just e-mailed them this morning. I was just curious if other people on this board had experience with meeting more than one group of people and then trying to find their car at CDG. Thanks!

Since you'll be arriving at Gare du Nord, you might want to look into simply hiring a driver for the day - first to take you to CDG, then to pick up the other travelers (each at their own terminal), then to deliver everyone to their hotels. It shouldn't cost much more than €200 for the whole deal.

Try Amadeus(yes, real name), I have not used his service myself, but he comes highly recommended.

I'm not sure if this will be helpful, but just 2 weeks ago we met family who flew into Terminal 2A on CO, and my husband and I flew into Terminal 1 on USAirways. Since the CO flight arrived 2.5 hrs. earlier than ours, relatives (first time to Europe) opted to meet us at Terminal 1, and it worked perfectly. They got on the red #1 shuttle and rode over to Terminal 1 (about 10-15 min. ride) and were waiting for us when we exited the baggage claim area. We'd previously had set up the pastry shop, Brioche Doree, as the meeting place in Terminal 1, but they came right to where we exited. I had obsessed about this for days, concerned that they couldn't find their way to Terminal 1, etc. They are in their 50ies so no problem with luggage, mobility, etc.

There is a shuttle that continually makes the rounds among the different terminals. One thought would be for you to meet the first arrivals and then all of you shuttle to the second arrival terminal, then either take a large cab (mini-van type) or get in pvt car, that I'm sure your hotel could arrange for you.

How nice that you will get to experience your mom's first glimpses of and reactions to Paris! Have a wonderful trip!
