PREM Fares Usually (Always?) Cheapest?
Hi, I bought PREM fares (44 E for 2, I think it was) for CDG to Rennes and am thinking of buying them for Caen - Paris.
I'd rather not buy them in advance, but the fare is 34 Euro for both of us. That sounds pretty cheap to me. Any reason to think we would get a similar price just showing up at the station on the day we want to travel?

A PREM fare is an online discounted fare for advanced booking. You will not be able to get that price at the station the day of. The listed "Tarif normal" is what you would pay the day of. Getting a prem fare from Caen to Paris saves you about 12€ under the best case scenario.
