Pre pay for Ufficio?

I was reading yesterday that even if you make reservations for the Ufficio you must pay for the tickets in advance also. Is this true? I have reservations, but I want to make sure I can get in the museum at my appointed time. Please advise.

Hi jemappell -

It would help if you told us what office you are trying to make reservations for. Or do you mean the Uffizi in Florence?

Yes, I second that question. Do you mean the Uffizi Gallery in Florence?

If you mean the Florentine museum, of course you can get into it at the appointed time if you have reserved. You pay when you get there and pick up the tickets; tickets plus the booking fee.
