Praise for latest Fodors Provence/Riviera Guidebook
Fellow Canuck Nancy Heslin and Jennifer Ladonne co-wrote last year's 13th edition. It was the best/most useful of all the many guidebooks that we just used to research. Love the ongoing Fodors usage of pros/cons as part of hotel listings.
This latest Fodors edition's detailed update regarding local buses slayed the competition this time around. Other guidebooks would've had us non-drivers scrambling had we relied solely on their transit sections.
Using a curated combo of guides is normally the way to go for travelers, combined of course with travel forums (don't overlook Reddit for specific cities/towns/regions) and blogs, but every now and then readers are lucky to come across guides that stand out. Such as this.
Take a bow Nancy and Jennifer! Eugene would have been proud of you.
I am done. the pile of books
