Prague to London to Chicago Will I make my connection?

Looking to book a flight from Prague to London Gatwick on Easy Jet and I have a flight with which I need to connect from London Gatwick to Chicago on Norwegian Air. Prague to London Gatwick lands at 1:30 pm (google flights says it is often delayed by 30 minutes). London to Chicago leaves at 4 p.m. I know I have to drop luggage and change terminals at LGW. I can use Gatwick Connects for luggage drop. Would I have enough time to make this connection -- roughly 2 hours? Please advise, I need to book ASAP.

Totally un connected bookings on two low fare airlines -- ANY little thing going wrong and you are totally out of luck.

I would fly in to London the night before actually. But IF you insist on flying in the same day you want to be at LGW as early as possible.

Yeah flights can always be cancelled so janis' advice is spot on IMO - there are hotels in Gatwick Airport and around it - maybe a late flight and put up at hotel (or B&Bs a short walk/taxi ride away).

I frequently fly from somewhere in Europe to London on easyjet and then fly home on Norwegian but I ALWAYS give myself at least one night in London. Don't know how long your trip is but if you can shave at least one, and preferably two, and spend them in London that would be a good idea. Then no stress re the flights plus who can't enjoy a couple days in London (I do this almost annually).
