Prague

Next Week (!) we are driving from Heidelberg to Prague. Since we are a family of 5 adults, we thought this may be the most economical. BUT---we have read that parking is impossible in Prague so thought we would perhaps leave our car at a train stations nearby and take a train into the city. Any suggestions on this??? Unfortunately, we only have 2 1/2 days for this side trip from Heidelberg. Thanks!

that would be a good idea. You could email your hotel and find out which metro stop you should take that would bring you closest to your hotel. The city center is very walkable so you won't miss your car.

Personalyy, no I don't. Do you have hotel reservations yet? I would email them and ask that very question.

look thru this site.

http://www.myczechrepublic.com/prague/prague_metro.html

they also have a chat room where you could get help. By the way, I found this site by typing "Prague Metro Map" in Yahoo search.
