Prague

I'm going to Prague for the first time this May. I am wondering where to stay and for how many days. I would of course like a clean hotel but not too expensive. Also wondering if there is anything we must not miss.

I'm planning my own trip for next month, and I've read very mixed reviews on the Black Lantern theatre.
I'm taking a pass on it, since we have other things to do.

I have a file on Prague and things to do, if you'd like to see it, email me at
[email protected]

Also, click at the top of this screen on Destinations, and then keep clicking until you get to the Prague info--lots of suggestions

Check out www.athos.cz for a terrific spectrum of lodging choices. Great agency. You can chat with an agent live online, via ICQ, if you wish.

Best wishes,

Rex

Even tho I also requested elaine's Prague file via email, I had to PUBLICLY thank her for her advice no matter where we've traveled. Your suggestions have always delighted us! So...thanks!

It has been since Nov '97 that I was in Prague but we stayed at a nice, clean and safe penzion with bathroom & skylights. It is the Penzion Balbin near the Muzeum Metro & Wenceslas Square. It is a 3* and the buffet breakfast was very good. You are 5-10 minutes walk to just about anywhere you want to go and the rates are very reasonable. The helpful staff speaks English.
