Possible for 30 min layover in Dublin?

Our flights with AirCanada from Dublin to Toronto we’re moved to an earlier time after we had booked, unfortunately, we had also booked a morning flight separate with Ryanair coming from Glasgow. Originally we had about an 3 hr layover in Dublin and now squeezed down to 30 mins. Is this still going to be enough time? We also will have carry on bags only and can download our boarding pass for AirCanada flight on our phones by checking in online the night before. My gut is telling me no but at the same time I don’t wanna change flight times and get charged a bunch more. Thanks!

Is that 30 mins between landing and boarding or landing and take off?
What if your Ryanair from Glasgow runs even 10 minutes late?
What if they land, but can’t pull into the terminal right away?
Whichever airline changed your flight times must fix the problem.
Dublin is not a bad airport to get around, but I would not even consider this, especially going into an international flight.

30 mins from landing and take off. So ya I was thinking it’s very tight. And AirCanada changed their flight to being earlier so I was thinking of contacting them. I did however book the AirCanada flights through Expedia so perhaps I’ll have to talk to them.

You are not on protected flights, I would not chance 30 minutes. Just no.

On separate tix, less than 2 full hours is never a good idea (in fact separate bookings are often a false economy). AC closes the gate 30 mins prior to flights to Canada so there is no way on earth you would make it.

>>Boarding closes at the following times for Air Canada (AC) flights: 20 minutes before scheduled departure time for Canada and to/from the US flights. 30 minutes before scheduled departure time for international flights to/from Canada (not including the US and Israel)<<

. . . IMO one should never be in a different city/country on unprotected bookings the morning of a flight out. Any little thing goes wrong and you are totally SOL IMO unless AC can do something, I'd pay RyanAir's change fee and fly from Glasgow the night before

Good, you needed to do that. 30 mins. and on separate tickets doesn't work. All it would take is your incoming flight to be 10 mins. late and you're toast
