I like this site - discoverportugal2day.com. When are you going to Portugal. We go every winter, and we are staying in Albufeira for the 4th time. You can travel all over from there. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw you have stayed in Albufeira. I am thinking of spending 2 nites there. Can you recommend a place to stay that would be midrange in price? Are there places by the water or would we be better off farther away?

Hi Karen,<BR>Just picked up your message. In April the prices do go up quite a bit, so I can't say what the price will be. One place really nice overlooking the ocean is the Alfagar complex in Oura (Albufeira) right across the road is the new Balaia Plaza also a nice sea view. We are leaving on Monday for 10 weeks returning home end of March. One week doesn't sound long enough to spend there, but I hope you have a great time.

Thanks CaroleAnnn for the suggestions. Ooowee...10 weeks...how nice.I know a week isn't much, but that is all my cousin can get off from work, so I figured that is better than nothing. Have a great vacation and please let us know how it went when you get back.
