Portugal & Morocco in 10 days?
Wife and I are planning a trip in Sept/Oct and are considering the following: 1)Flying into Libon, Portugal; 2)spending a couple of days goofing around there, then taking a train to whatever port city has ferries leaving for Morocco; 3)spending 4-5 days in Morocco (Marrakesh and Fes seem ideal, but I'm certainly open to ideas); 4)returning to Portugal by ferry, spending the remaining days in a city/town other than Lisbon (again, open to ideas); 5) returning to Lisbon on the last day to catch our return flight. We like to cover alot of ground and be adventurous, but are we biting off more than we can chew here? In other words, should this really be 2 trips? Help!

Have never been to Portugal (it's on the wish list), but we spent 2 weeks in Morocco - and saw the northern part as far south as Ourzazate - never got to the Atlantic coast towns at all.

If you are never going to that part of the world again, then do both Portugal and Morocco; if you plan to return, then enjoy your 10 days in Portugal and come back another time to Morocco (or vice versa).

We have made two trips to Portugal in the last two years and there is still so much more we want to see in this great country. It may be small but there is so much to see and do. Strongly suggest you do either Portugal or Morocco but not both in 10 days.
