I was planning to travel from Seville to Faro to Lisbon to Porto to Ciudad Rodrigo and eventaully to Salamanca. getting tired of long bus/train trips. Any suggestions for alternatives from Seville to Porto and back to spain? No driving, por favor.

I assume you have familial or business obligations, as to chose such diverse destinations.
Check Iberia, Vueling, Easy Jet,Ryan, and TAP, and see if there are any convenient connections.
If you are tired of buses and trains, and do not want to drive, you do not have many other choices besides walking, burros, or "Beam me up Scotty."

No obligations, just trying to drive my husband crazy. Perhaps a little too much vino last night after a long tripfrom Logrono to Barcelona. Six nights here should give me a little time to relax. I am loving Spain - people, food and wine so I will continue on and enjoy the scenery. Thanks, and maybe Apple will come out with the "beam me up watch" next year.

LOL -- 6 nights was, IMO, just enough to scratch the surface of Barcelona with no day trips and by keeping busy every minute of every day. But I'm sure you'll see some wonderful things, even if you do so at a relaxing pace.

Kja, you are absolutely correct and we are in Barcelona for 6 nights and didn't come close to seeing much the city had to offer. Oops, cut that back to 4 nights. Picked up some bug and have been in bed for 2 days. Tomorrow we leave for Cordoba,

I hope you enjoyed the time you had in Barcelona before falling ill and that you feel well enough to savor your time in magnificent Cordoba.
