Pompeii luggage storage
I will be taking the train to Naples after seeing the sights in Pompeii. I need to store my luggage while visiting the Pompeii ruins. I will have one large suitcase and a backpack to check-in. I understand that I can do this at the train station. At the train station will the lockers be to small for my large suitcase? I had heard that there was a storage facility upstairs at the train station which is across from the Pompeii sight. I have a problem arm so I do not want to do much lifting of luggage. Approximately how many stairs will I have to take for this storage facility? Another option was leaving my luggage at the entrance to the archaeological sight, but I have heard this may not be as secure as the train station drop-off sight. I see online several options from other companies in Pompeii that store your luggage. Do you know anything about these other storage facilities? How faraway are they from the train station which is next to the Pompeii archaeological sight?

We used the luggage storage right at the station. I believe it was on the lower level (have to descend to go under the tracks). It was large enough for any size of bags. Seemed very secure.
We used the stairs to get from one side of the track to the other, I don't recall if there was a lift.
It's a short walk to to entrance for the ruins, but can't imagine storing baggage there would be easier.
